Numbers 9:5-7
New American Standard Bible
5 And (A)they celebrated the Passover in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, at twilight, in the wilderness of Sinai; (B)in accordance with everything that the Lord had commanded Moses, so the sons of Israel did. 6 But there were some men who were (C)unclean because of contact with a [a]dead person, so that they could not celebrate Passover on that day; and (D)they came before Moses and Aaron on that day. 7 Those men said to him, “Though we are unclean because of a [b]dead person, why are we kept from presenting the offering of the Lord at its appointed time among the sons of Israel?”

New International Version
5 and they did so in the Desert of Sinai(A) at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month.(B) The Israelites did everything just as the Lord commanded Moses.(C)
6 But some of them could not celebrate the Passover on that day because they were ceremonially unclean(D) on account of a dead body.(E) So they came to Moses and Aaron(F) that same day 7 and said to Moses, “We have become unclean because of a dead body, but why should we be kept from presenting the Lord’s offering with the other Israelites at the appointed time?(G)”
