Numbers 9:5-7

5 And they observed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month at twilight[a] in the desert of Sinai. According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, thus the Israelites[b] did.
6 And it happened, men who were unclean by a dead person[c] were not able to perform the Passover on that day. And they came before[d] Moses and Aaron on that day. 7 And those men said to him, “Although we are unclean by a dead person,[e] why are we hindered from presenting the offering of Yahweh at its appointed time in the midst of the Israelites?”[f]

Numbers 9:5-7
New International Version
5 and they did so in the Desert of Sinai(A) at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month.(B) The Israelites did everything just as the Lord commanded Moses.(C)
6 But some of them could not celebrate the Passover on that day because they were ceremonially unclean(D) on account of a dead body.(E) So they came to Moses and Aaron(F) that same day 7 and said to Moses, “We have become unclean because of a dead body, but why should we be kept from presenting the Lord’s offering with the other Israelites at the appointed time?(G)”
