22 Whether it was two days, a month, or a year that the cloud lingered over the tabernacle, staying above it, the sons of Israel remained camped and did not set out; but (A)when it was lifted, they did set out. 23 (B)At the [a]command of the Lord they camped, and at the [b]command of the Lord they set out; they did what the Lord required, in accordance with the [c]command of the Lord through Moses.

22 Whether the cloud stayed over the tabernacle for two days or a month or a year, the Israelites would remain in camp and not set out; but when it lifted, they would set out. 23 At the Lord’s command they encamped, and at the Lord’s command they set out. They obeyed the Lord’s order, in accordance with his command through Moses.
