¹⁰ “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘If any one of you or of your generations becomes unclean because of a dead ^[a]person, or is on a distant journey, he may, however, observe the Passover to the Lord. ¹¹ In the second month on the ^(A)fourteenth day at twilight, they shall observe it; they ^(B)shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.

Passover Reinstituted

¹³ Now many people were gathered at Jerusalem to celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread ^(A)in the second month, a very large assembly.

¹⁵ Then ^(A)they slaughtered the Passover lambs on the fourteenth of the second month. And ^(B)the priests and Levites were ashamed of themselves, and consecrated themselves and brought burnt offerings to the house of the Lord.
