² “Command the sons of Israel that they ^(A)send away from the camp everyone with leprosy, everyone having a ^(B)discharge, and everyone who is ^(C)unclean because of contact with a dead person. ³ You shall send away both male and female; you shall send them outside the camp so that they do not defile their camp where I dwell ^(D)in their midst.”

¹⁴ But the Lord said to Moses, “If her father had only ^(A)spit in her face, would she not be put to shame for seven days? Have her shut ^(B)outside the camp for seven days, and afterward she may be received again.” ¹⁵ So ^(C)Miriam was shut outside the camp for seven days, and the people did not move on until Miriam was received again.

^21 (A)King Uzziah had leprosy to the day of his death; and he lived in ^(B)a separate house, afflicted as he was with leprosy, for he was cut off from the house of the Lord. And his son Jotham was over the king’s house, judging the people of the land.
