Moses recorded the starting points of their journeys at the command of the Lord. These are their journeys according to their starting points.

They set out from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month. On the day after the Passover the children of Israel went out with a high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians, because the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, whom the Lord had killed among them. Upon their gods the Lord executed judgments.

At the Lord’s command Moses recorded(A) the stages in their journey(B). This is their journey by stages:

The Israelites set out(C) from Rameses(D) on the fifteenth day of the first month, the day after the Passover.(E) They marched out defiantly(F) in full view of all the Egyptians, who were burying all their firstborn,(G) whom the Lord had struck down among them; for the Lord had brought judgment(H) on their gods.(I)
