Numbers 32:7-9
New English Translation
7 Why do you frustrate the intent[a] of the Israelites to cross over into the land that the Lord has given them? 8 Your fathers did the same thing when I sent them from Kadesh Barnea to see the land. 9 When[b] they went up to the Eshcol Valley and saw the land, they frustrated the intent of the Israelites so that they did not enter[c] the land that the Lord had given[d] them.

7 Why do you discourage the Israelites from crossing over into the land the Lord has given them?(A) 8 This is what your fathers did when I sent them from Kadesh Barnea to look over the land.(B) 9 After they went up to the Valley of Eshkol(C) and viewed the land, they discouraged the Israelites from entering the land the Lord had given them.
