2 These are the names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab the firstborn, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
3 These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests who were anointed, whom Aaron consecrated and ordained to minister in the priest’s office.
4 But Nadab and Abihu died before the Lord when they offered strange fire before the Lord in the Wilderness of Sinai; and they had no children. So Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest’s office in the presence and under the supervision of Aaron their father.(A)

2 The names of the sons of Aaron were Nadab the firstborn(A) and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.(B) 3 Those were the names of Aaron’s sons, the anointed priests,(C) who were ordained to serve as priests. 4 Nadab and Abihu, however, died before the Lord(D) when they made an offering with unauthorized fire before him in the Desert of Sinai.(E) They had no sons, so Eleazar and Ithamar(F) served as priests during the lifetime of their father Aaron.(G)
