Prescribed Offerings

28 The Lord spoke to Moses, “Command the Israelites and say to them: Be sure to present to me at its appointed time my offering and my food(A) as my food offering, a pleasing aroma to me.(B) And say to them: This is the food offering you are to present to the Lord:(C)

Daily Offerings

“Each day present two unblemished year-old male lambs as a regular burnt offering. Offer one lamb in the morning and the other lamb at twilight, along with two quarts[a] of fine flour for a grain offering mixed with a quart[b] of olive oil from crushed olives.(D) It is a regular burnt offering established at Mount Sinai for a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the Lord. The drink offering is to be a quart with each lamb. Pour out the offering of beer to the Lord in the sanctuary area. Offer the second lamb at twilight, along with the same kind of grain offering and drink offering as in the morning. It is a food offering, a pleasing aroma to the Lord.

28 The Lord spoke to Moses: Command the Israelites and say to them: Make sure to offer to me my offering, my food, my food gift as a soothing smell to me at its appointed time.

You will say to them: This is the food gift that you must present to the Lord: two flawless one-year-old lambs as the regular entirely burned offering every day. One lamb you will offer in the morning and the second at twilight, with a tenth of an ephah[a] of fine flour for a grain offering mixed with a fourth of a hin[b] of beaten oil. It is the regular entirely burned offering begun at Mount Sinai, a food gift that is a soothing smell to the Lord. Their drink offering will be a fourth of a hin for each lamb. In the sanctuary a drink offering of brandy will be poured out for the Lord. The second lamb you will offer at twilight like the grain offering and the drink offering in the morning. You will offer a food gift that is a soothing smell to the Lord.

This is the regular burnt offering(J) instituted at Mount Sinai(K) as a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the Lord.(L) The accompanying drink offering(M) is to be a quarter of a hin of fermented drink(N) with each lamb. Pour out the drink offering to the Lord at the sanctuary.(O) Offer the second lamb at twilight,(P) along with the same kind of grain offering and drink offering that you offer in the morning.(Q) This is a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.(R)
