62 And those listed were (A)23,000, every male from a month old and upward. For (B)they were not listed among the people of Israel, because (C)there was no inheritance given to them among the people of Israel.
63 These were those listed by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who listed the people of Israel (D)in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho. 64 (E)But among these there was not one of those listed by Moses and Aaron the priest, who had listed the people of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai.

62 All the male Levites a month old or more numbered 23,000.(A) They were not counted(B) along with the other Israelites because they received no inheritance(C) among them.(D)
63 These are the ones counted(E) by Moses and Eleazar the priest when they counted the Israelites on the plains of Moab(F) by the Jordan across from Jericho.(G) 64 Not one of them was among those counted(H) by Moses and Aaron(I) the priest when they counted the Israelites in the Desert of Sinai.
