³¹ Then the Lord opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw ^(A)the angel of the Lord standing in the way with his drawn sword in his hand; and he bowed ^[a]all the way to the ground.

¹⁷ Then Elisha prayed and said, “^(A)O Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” And the Lord opened the servant’s eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of ^(B)horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
