8 The Lord said to Moses, “Make a special snake and put it up on a long piece of wood. Everyone who is bitten will live when he looks at it.” 9 So Moses made a brass snake and put it up on the long piece of wood. If a snake bit any man, he would live when he looked at the brass snake.

8 The Lord said to Moses, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole;(A) anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.” 9 So Moses made a bronze snake(B) and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, they lived.(C)

9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
10 And the children of Israel set forward, and pitched in Oboth.
