⁴ And they shall be joined with you and keep the responsibility of the tent of meeting, for all the service of the tent; but ^[a]an outsider may not come near you.

²⁸ For their station is to be on hand for the sons of Aaron with the service of the house of Yahweh, in the courts and in the chambers and in the cleansing of all holy things, even the work of the service of the house of God, ^29 (A)and with the showbread, and ^(B)the fine flour for a grain offering, and unleavened wafers, or ^(C)what is made on the griddle, or ^(D)what is well stirred, and ^(E)all measures of volume and size. ³⁰ And they are to stand every morning to thank and to praise Yahweh, and likewise at evening, ³¹ and to offer all burnt offerings to Yahweh, ^(F)on the sabbaths, the new moons and ^(G)the appointed times in the number set by the judgments concerning them, continually before Yahweh. ³² Thus ^(H)they shall keep responsibility of the tent of meeting, and responsibility of the holy place, and ^(I)responsibility of the sons of Aaron their ^[a]relatives, for the service of the house of Yahweh.

¹¹ Yet they shall be ^(A)ministers in My sanctuary, having ^(B)oversight at the gates of the house and ^(C)ministering in the house; they shall ^(D)slaughter the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall ^(E)stand before them to minister to them.
