^19 (A)All the contributions of the holy gifts, which the sons of Israel raise up to Yahweh, I have given to you and your sons and your daughters with you, as a perpetual statute. It is ^(B)an everlasting covenant of salt before Yahweh to you and your seed with you.”

⁵ Do you not know that ^(A)Yahweh, the God of Israel, gave the rule over Israel forever to David ^[a]and his sons by ^(B)a covenant of salt?

²⁴ And you shall bring them near before Yahweh, and the priests shall throw ^(A)salt on them, and they shall offer them up as a burnt offering to Yahweh.
