³⁸ As for the censers of these ^[a]men who have sinned at the cost of their lives, let them be made into hammered sheets for a plating of the altar, since they did present them before the Lord and they are holy; and ^(A)they shall be for a sign to the sons of Israel.”

¹⁹ Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him to death? Did he not ^(A)fear the Lord and entreat the favor of the Lord, and ^(B)the Lord ^[a]changed His mind about the misfortune which He had pronounced against them? But we are ^(C)committing a great evil against ourselves.”

¹¹ Say to them, ‘^(A)As I live!’ declares the Lord ^[a]God, ‘I take ^(B)no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked ^(C)turn from his way and live. ^(D)Turn back, turn back from your evil ways! Why then will you die, O house of Israel?’
