Israel Struck Down

³⁹ Then Moses spoke ^(A)these words to all the sons of Israel, and ^(B)the people mourned greatly.

⁴⁵ Then the Amalekites and the Canaanites who lived in that hill country came down, and struck them and beat them down as far as ^(A)Hormah.

^14 (A)And the anger of Yahweh burned against Israel, and He gave them into the hands of plunderers who plundered them; and ^(B)He sold them into the hands of their enemies around them, so that they could no longer stand before their enemies.
