Moses Prays for the People

^11 (A)Yahweh said to Moses, “How long will this people spurn Me? And how long will ^(B)they not believe in Me, despite all the signs which I have done in their midst?

The Chaldeans Destroy Jerusalem

¹⁵ And Yahweh, the God of their fathers, ^(A)sent word to them ^[a]again and again by the hand of His messengers, because He had compassion on His people and on His habitation; ¹⁶ but they continually ^(B)mocked the messengers of God, ^(C)despised His words and scoffed at His prophets, ^(D)until the wrath of Yahweh arose against His people, until there was no remedy.

¹⁰ They have ^(A)turned back to the iniquities of their ^[a]ancestors who ^(B)refused to hear My words, and they ^(C)have walked after other gods to serve them; the house of Israel and the house of Judah have ^(D)broken My covenant which I cut with their fathers.”
