²^(A)and they said, “Has Yahweh indeed spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken through us as well?” And Yahweh heard it.

Numbers 12:2

New International Version

²“Has the Lord spoken only through Moses?” they asked. “Hasn’t he also spoken through us?”^(A) And the Lord heard this.^(B)

¹⁶Then they became ^(A)envious of Moses in the camp,
And of Aaron, the holy one of Yahweh,

¹⁶In the camp they grew envious^(A) of Moses
and of Aaron, who was consecrated to the Lord.
