The people would go about and gather it and grind it [a]between two millstones or beat it in the mortar, and boil it in the pot and make cakes with it; and its taste was as the taste of [b]cakes baked with oil. (A)When the dew fell on the camp at night, the manna would fall [c]with it.

10 Now Moses heard the people weeping throughout their families, each man at the doorway of his tent; and the anger of the Lord was kindled greatly, and [d]Moses was displeased.

The people went around gathering it,(A) and then ground it in a hand mill or crushed it in a mortar. They cooked it in a pot or made it into loaves. And it tasted like something made with olive oil. When the dew(B) settled on the camp at night, the manna also came down.

10 Moses heard the people of every family wailing(C) at the entrance to their tents. The Lord became exceedingly angry, and Moses was troubled.
