De plaats van de stammen rond de tent van ontmoeting (vervolg)
2 De Heer zei tegen Mozes en Aäron: 2 "De Israëlieten moeten hun tenten in vaste groepen opzetten. Iedereen zet zijn tent op bij de vlag waar hij bij hoort en bij de familie waar hij bij hoort. De tenten moeten op een afstand van de tent van ontmoeting komen te staan.
3 Aan de oostkant komt de vlag van de stam van Juda te staan. Bij die vlag zetten de volgende stammen hun tenten op:
De stam van Juda, met als aanvoerder Nahesson, de zoon van Amminadab. 4 Zijn leger bestond uit 74.600 mannen.
5 Daarnaast de stam van Issaschar, met als aanvoerder Netaneël, de zoon van Zuar. 6 Zijn leger bestond uit 54.400 mannen.
7 Daarnaast de stam van Zebulon, met als aanvoerder Eliab, de zoon van Helon. 8 Zijn leger bestond uit 57.400 mannen.
9 Het hele leger van de vlag van Juda bestond uit 186.400 mannen. Deze stammen moeten steeds vooraan optrekken.
10 Aan de zuidkant komt de vlag van de stam van Ruben te staan. Bij die vlag zetten de volgende stammen hun tenten op:
De stam van Ruben, met als aanvoerder Elizur, de zoon van Sedeür. 11 Zijn leger bestond uit 46.500 mannen.
12 Daarnaast de stam van Simeon, met als aanvoerder Selumiël, de zoon van Zurisaddai. 13 Zijn leger bestond uit 59.300 mannen.
14 Daarnaast de stam van Gad, met als aanvoerder Eljasaf, de zoon van Rehuël. 15 Zijn leger bestond uit 45.650 mannen.
16 Het hele leger van de vlag van Ruben bestond uit 151.450 mannen. Deze stammen moeten steeds als tweede optrekken.
17 Daarna moet de tent van ontmoeting met alle Levieten optrekken, midden tussen de legers van de andere stammen. Zoals de tenten van de Israëlieten staan, zo moeten ze ook optrekken: iedere groep bij zijn eigen vlag.
18 Aan de westkant komt de vlag van de stam van Efraïm te staan. Bij die vlag zetten de volgende stammen hun tenten op:
De stam van Efraïm, met als aanvoerder Elisama, de zoon van Ammihud. 19 Zijn leger bestond uit 40.500 mannen.
20 Daarnaast de stam van Manasse, met als aanvoerder Gamaliël, de zoon van Pedazur. 21 Zijn leger bestond uit 32.200 mannen.
22 Daarnaast de stam van Benjamin, met als aanvoerder Abidan, de zoon van Gideoni. 23 Zijn leger bestond uit 35.400 mannen.
24 Het hele leger van de vlag van Efraïm was 108.100 mannen. Deze stammen moeten steeds als derde optrekken.
25 Aan de noordkant komt de vlag van de stam van Dan te staan. Bij die vlag zetten de volgende stammen hun tenten op:
De stam van Dan, met als aanvoerder Ahiëzer, de zoon van Ammisaddai. 26 Zijn leger bestond uit 62.700 mannen.
27 Daarnaast de stam van Aser, met als aanvoerder Pagiël, de zoon van Ochran. 28 Zijn leger bestond uit 41.500 mannen.
29 Daarnaast de stam van Naftali, met als aanvoerder Ahira, de zoon van Enan. 30 Zijn leger bestond uit 53.400 mannen.
31 Het hele leger van de vlag van Dan bestond uit 157.600 mannen. Deze stammen moeten steeds achteraan optrekken.
32 In totaal waren er 603.550 mannen die met het leger konden meegaan, ingedeeld volgens de families waar ze bij hoorden. 33 Maar de Levieten werden niet samen met de andere Israëlieten geteld, zoals de Heer aan Mozes bevolen had. 34 En de Israëlieten zetten hun tenten neer op de plaats die de Heer voor elke stam had bepaald. Alle families zetten hun tenten op rond de vlag waar ze bij hoorden. Ook als de Israëlieten optrokken, bleef iedereen bij de stam en de vlag waar hij bij hoorde.

5 (C)Ab’ekika kya Isakaali be banaasiisiranga okuliraana Yuda. Omukulembeze w’abantu ba Isakaali ye Nesaneri mutabani wa Zuwaali. 6 Abaabalibwa mu kibinja kye baali emitwalo etaano mu enkumi nnya mu ebikumi bina (54,400).
7 (D)Ekika kya Zebbulooni kye kinaddangako. Omukulembeze w’abantu ba Zebbulooni ye Eriyaabu mutabani wa Keroni. 8 Abaabalibwa mu kibinja kye baali emitwalo etaano mu kasanvu mu ebikumi bina (57,400).
9 (E)Abasajja bonna abaali mu lusiisira lwa Yuda abaabalibwa ng’ebibinja by’amaggye gaabwe bwe byali baali emitwalo kkumi na munaana mu kakaaga mu ebikumi bina (186,400). Be banaakulemberanga.
10 (F)Ku ludda olw’obukiikaddyo ebibinja eby’amaggye g’omu kika kya Lewubeeni gye banaasiisiranga, nga basimbye eyo n’ebendera yaabwe. Omukulembeze w’abantu ba Lewubeeni ye Erizuuli mutabani wa Sedewuli. 11 Abaabalibwa mu kibinja kye baali emitwalo ena mu kakaaga mu ebikumi bitaano (46,500).
12 (G)Ab’ekika kya Simyoni be banaabaddiriranga. Omukulembeze w’abantu ba Simyoni ye Serumiyeeri mutabani wa Zulisadaayi. 13 Abaabalibwa mu kibinja kye baali emitwalo etaano mu kenda mu ebikumi bisatu (59,300).
14 (H)Ab’ekika kya Gaadi be banaddangako. Omukulembeze w’abantu ba Gaadi ye Eriyasaafu mutabani wa Deweri. 15 Abaabalibwa mu kibinja kye baali emitwalo ena mu enkumi ttaano mu lukaaga mu amakumi ataano (45,650).
16 (I)Abasajja bonna okugatta awamu abaali mu lusiisira lwa Lewubeeni abaabalibwa, ng’ebibinja by’amaggye gaabwe bwe byali, baali emitwalo kkumi n’ettaano mu lukumi mu ebikumi bina mu amakumi ataano (151,450). Be banaabanga abookubiri okusitula ng’olugendo lutuuse.
17 (J)Eweema ya Mukama ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu eneesitulwanga ng’olugendo lutuuse nga yeebunguluddwa olusiisira lw’Abaleevi, ng’eri mu makkati g’ensiisira endala zonna. Banaasitulanga okutambula nga baddiriragana ng’enteekateeka y’ensiisira zaabwe bw’eri, buli musajja ng’agenda n’ebendera ye.
18 (K)Ku ludda olw’ebugwanjuba y’eneebeeranga olusiisira lw’ebibinja bya Efulayimu nga bakutte n’ebendera zaabwe. Omukulembeze w’abantu ba Efulayimu ye Erisaama mutabani wa Ammikudi. 19 Ab’omu kibinja kye abaabalibwa baali emitwalo ena mu ebikumi bitaano (40,500).
20 (L)Ekika kya Manase kye kinaddangako. Omukulembeze w’abantu ba Manase ye Gamalyeri mutabani wa Pedazuuli. 21 Ab’omu kibinja kye abaabalibwa baali emitwalo esatu mu enkumi bbiri mu ebikumi bibiri (32,200).
22 (M)Ekika kya Benyamini ne kiddako. Omukulembeze w’abantu ba Benyamini ye Abidaani mutabani wa Gidyoni. 23 Ab’omu kibinja kye abaabalibwa baali emitwalo esatu mu enkumi ttaano mu ebikumi bina (35,400).
24 (N)Okugatta awamu abasajja bonna abaali mu lusiisira lwa Efulayimu abaabalibwa ng’ebibinja byabwe bwe byali baali emitwalo kkumi mu kanaana mu kikumi (108,100). Bano be banaabanga abookusatu okusitula ng’olugendo lutuuse.
25 (O)Ku ludda olw’obukiikakkono y’eneebeeranga olusiisira lw’ebibinja bya Ddaani n’ebendera yaabwe. Omukulembeze w’abantu ba Ddaani ye Akiyezeeri mutabani wa Amisadaayi. 26 Ab’omu kibinja kye abaabalibwa baali emitwalo mukaaga mu enkumi bbiri mu lusanvu (62,700).
27 (P)Ab’ekika kya Aseri be banaasiisiranga okubaddirira. Omukulembeze w’abantu ba Aseri ye Pagiyeeri mutabani wa Okulaani. 28 Ab’omu kibinja kye abaabalibwa baali emitwalo ena mu lukumi mu ebikumi bitaano (41,500).
29 (Q)Ab’ekika kya Nafutaali be banaddangako. Omukulembeze w’abantu ba Nafutaali ye Akira mutabani wa Enani. 30 Ab’omu kibinja kye abaabalibwa baali emitwalo etaano mu enkumi ssatu mu ebikumi bina (53,400).
31 (R)Okugatta awamu abasajja bonna abaali mu lusiisira lwa Ddaani baali emitwalo kkumi n’ettaano mu kasanvu mu lukaaga (157,600). Abo be banaasembangayo okusitula ng’olugendo lutuuse, ng’ebendera zaabwe bwe ziri.
32 (S)Abo be baana ba Isirayiri abaabalibwa ng’empya zaabwe bwe zaali. Okugatta abaali mu nsiisira bonna ng’ebibinja byabwe bwe byali, baawera emitwalo nkaaga mu enkumi ssatu mu ebikumi bitaano mu amakumi ataano (603,550). 33 (T)Naye abaana ba Isirayiri bwe baali babalibwa, Abaleevi bo tebaabalibwa, kubanga bw’atyo Mukama bwe yalagira Musa.
34 Abaana ba Isirayiri bwe batyo ne bakola ebyo byonna Mukama Katonda bye yalagira Musa. Bwe batyo bwe baasiisiranga ensiisira zaabwe ng’ebendera zaabwe bwe zaali, era bwe batyo bwe baasitulanga okutambula buli bantu mu bika byabwe ne mu mpya za bajjajjaabwe.

The Arrangement of the Tribal Camps
2 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron: 2 “The Israelites are to camp around the tent of meeting some distance from it, each of them under their standard(A) and holding the banners of their family.”
3 On the east, toward the sunrise, the divisions of the camp of Judah are to encamp under their standard. The leader of the people of Judah is Nahshon son of Amminadab.(B) 4 His division numbers 74,600.
5 The tribe of Issachar(C) will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Issachar is Nethanel son of Zuar.(D) 6 His division numbers 54,400.
7 The tribe of Zebulun will be next. The leader of the people of Zebulun is Eliab son of Helon.(E) 8 His division numbers 57,400.
9 All the men assigned to the camp of Judah, according to their divisions, number 186,400. They will set out first.(F)
10 On the south(G) will be the divisions of the camp of Reuben under their standard. The leader of the people of Reuben is Elizur son of Shedeur.(H) 11 His division numbers 46,500.

17 Then the tent of meeting and the camp of the Levites(N) will set out in the middle of the camps. They will set out in the same order as they encamp, each in their own place under their standard.
18 On the west(O) will be the divisions of the camp of Ephraim(P) under their standard. The leader of the people of Ephraim is Elishama son of Ammihud.(Q) 19 His division numbers 40,500.
20 The tribe of Manasseh(R) will be next to them. The leader of the people of Manasseh is Gamaliel son of Pedahzur.(S) 21 His division numbers 32,200.

31 All the men assigned to the camp of Dan number 157,600. They will set out last,(AD) under their standards.
32 These are the Israelites, counted according to their families.(AE) All the men in the camps, by their divisions, number 603,550.(AF) 33 The Levites, however, were not counted(AG) along with the other Israelites, as the Lord commanded Moses.
34 So the Israelites did everything the Lord commanded Moses; that is the way they encamped under their standards, and that is the way they set out, each of them with their clan and family.

2 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying: 2 (A)“Everyone of the children of Israel shall camp by his own [a]standard, beside the emblems of his father’s house; they shall camp (B)some distance from the tabernacle of meeting. 3 On the (C)east side, toward the rising of the sun, those of the standard of the forces with Judah shall camp according to their armies; and (D)Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be the leader of the children of Judah.” 4 And his army was numbered at seventy-four thousand six hundred.
5 “Those who camp next to him shall be the tribe of Issachar, and Nethanel the son of Zuar shall be the leader of the children of Issachar.” 6 And his army was numbered at fifty-four thousand four hundred.
7 “Then comes the tribe of Zebulun, and Eliab the son of Helon shall be the leader of the children of Zebulun.” 8 And his army was numbered at fifty-seven thousand four hundred. 9 “All who were numbered according to their armies of the forces with Judah, one hundred and eighty-six thousand four hundred—(E)these shall [b]break camp first.
10 “On the (F)south side shall be the standard of the forces with Reuben according to their armies, and the leader of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.” 11 And his army was numbered at forty-six thousand five hundred.
12 “Those who camp next to him shall be the tribe of Simeon, and the leader of the children of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.” 13 And his army was numbered at fifty-nine thousand three hundred.
14 “Then comes the tribe of Gad, and the leader of the children of Gad shall be Eliasaph the son of [c]Reuel.” 15 And his army was numbered at forty-five thousand six hundred and fifty. 16 “All who were numbered according to their armies of the forces with Reuben, one hundred and fifty-one thousand four hundred and fifty—(G)they shall [d]be the second to break camp.
17 (H)“And the tabernacle of meeting shall move out with the [e]camp of the Levites (I)in the middle of the [f]camps; as they camp, so they shall move out, everyone in his place, by their [g]standards.
18 “On the west side shall be the standard of the forces with Ephraim according to their armies, and the leader of the children of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud.” 19 And his army was numbered at forty thousand five hundred.
20 “Next to him comes the tribe of Manasseh, and the leader of the children of Manasseh shall be Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.” 21 And his army was numbered at thirty-two thousand two hundred.
22 “Then comes the tribe of Benjamin, and the leader of the children of Benjamin shall be Abidan the son of Gideoni.” 23 And his army was numbered at thirty-five thousand four hundred. 24 “All who were numbered according to their armies of the forces with Ephraim, one hundred and eight thousand one hundred—(J)they shall [h]be the third to break camp.
25 “The [i]standard of the forces with Dan shall be on the north side according to their armies, and the leader of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.” 26 And his army was numbered at sixty-two thousand seven hundred.
27 “Those who camp next to him shall be the tribe of Asher, and the leader of the children of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of Ocran.” 28 And his army was numbered at forty-one thousand five hundred.
29 “Then comes the tribe of Naphtali, and the leader of the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira the son of Enan.” 30 And his army was numbered at fifty-three thousand four hundred. 31 “All who were numbered of the forces with Dan, one hundred and fifty-seven thousand six hundred—(K)they shall [j]break camp last, with their [k]standards.”
32 These are the ones who were numbered of the children of Israel by their fathers’ houses. (L)All who were numbered according to their armies of the forces were six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty. 33 But (M)the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel, just as the Lord commanded Moses.
34 Thus the children of Israel (N)did according to all that the Lord commanded Moses; (O)so they camped by their [l]standards and so they broke camp, each one by his family, according to their fathers’ houses.
