8 "Haal de staf[a] die bij de kist van het verbond ligt en roep met je broer Aäron het volk bij elkaar. Spreek dan tegen de rots, terwijl iedereen het hoort. Dan zal er water uit de rots komen. Je moet voor hen water uit de rots laten komen. Dan kunnen de mensen en het vee drinken."
