⁸⁹ Now when ^(A)Moses went into the tent of meeting to speak with Him, he heard the voice speaking to him from above ^(B)the ^[a]mercy seat that was on the ark of the testimony, from ^(C)between the two cherubim, so He spoke to him.

⁴ So the people sent to Shiloh, and from there they carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord of hosts ^(A)who sits above the cherubim; and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God.

² And David arose and went with all the people who were with him to ^[a](A)Baale-judah, to bring up from there the ark of God which is called by the ^(B)Name, the very name of the Lord of hosts who ^(C)is ^[b]enthroned above the cherubim.
