¹⁰ “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘If anyone of you or your ^[a]posterity is unclean because of a corpse, or is far away on a journey, he may still keep the Lord’s Passover.

⁶ that the Gentiles ^(A)should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel, ^7 (B)of which I became a minister ^(C)according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by ^(D)the effective working of His power.

Purpose of the Mystery

⁸ To me, ^(E)who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles ^(F)the unsearchable riches of Christ, ⁹ and to make all see what is the ^[a]fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who ^(G)created all things ^[b]through Jesus Christ;

¹² that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. ¹³ But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

By Grace Through Faith

2 And ^(A)you He made alive, ^(B)who were dead in trespasses and sins, ^2 (C)in which you once walked according to the ^[a]course of this world, according to ^(D)the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in ^(E)the sons of disobedience,

²⁸ But ^(A)let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.

⁹ Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. ^(A)Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor ^[a]homosexuals, nor ^[b]sodomites, ¹⁰ nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. ¹¹ And such were ^(B)some of you. ^(C)But you were washed, but you were ^[c]sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

Benediction

^25 [a]Now ^(A)to Him who is able to establish you ^(B)according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, ^(C)according to the revelation of the mystery ^(D)kept secret since the world began ²⁶ but ^(E)now made manifest, and by the prophetic Scriptures made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, for ^(F)obedience to the faith—

⁸ Now I say that ^(A)Jesus Christ has become a ^[a]servant to the circumcision for the truth of God, ^(B)to confirm the promises made to the fathers, ⁹ and ^(C)that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy, as it is written:

¹² And again, Isaiah says:

¹³ Now may the God of hope fill you with all ^(H)joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

From Jerusalem to Illyricum

¹⁴ Now ^(I)I myself am confident concerning you, my brethren, that you also are full of goodness, ^(J)filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish ^[b]one another. ¹⁵ Nevertheless, brethren, I have written more boldly to you on some points, as reminding you, ^(K)because of the grace given to me by God, ¹⁶ that ^(L)I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the ^(M)offering ^[c]of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit. ¹⁷ Therefore I have reason to glory in Christ Jesus ^(N)in the things which pertain to God. ¹⁸ For I will not dare to speak of any of those things ^(O)which Christ has not accomplished through me, in word and deed, ^(P)to make the Gentiles obedient— ^19 (Q)in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem and round about to Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

^24 (A)leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
