¹⁰ “Speak to the people of Israel, saying, If any one of you or of your descendants is unclean through touching a dead body, or is on a long journey, he shall still keep the Passover to the Lord.

⁶ This mystery is^[a] that the Gentiles are ^(A)fellow heirs, ^(B)members of the same body, and ^(C)partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

^7 (D)Of this gospel I was made ^(E)a minister according to the gift of ^(F)God's grace, which was given me ^(G)by the working of his power. ⁸ To me, ^(H)though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, ^(I)to preach to the Gentiles the ^(J)unsearchable ^(K)riches of Christ, ⁹ and ^(L)to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery ^(M)hidden for ages in^[b] God, ^(N)who created all things,

¹² remember ^(A)that you were at that time separated from Christ, ^(B)alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to ^(C)the covenants of promise, ^(D)having no hope and without God in the world. ¹³ But now in Christ Jesus you who once were ^(E)far off have been brought near ^(F)by the blood of Christ.

By Grace Through Faith

2 ^(A)And you were ^(B)dead in the trespasses and sins ^2 (C)in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following ^(D)the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in ^(E)the sons of disobedience—

^28 (A)Let a person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup.

⁹ Or do you not know that the unrighteous^[a] will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: ^(A)neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,^{[b] 10} nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. ¹¹ And ^(B)such were some of you. But ^(C)you were washed, ^(D)you were sanctified, ^(E)you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

^25 (A)Now to him who is able to strengthen you ^(B)according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, ^(C)according to the revelation of the mystery ^(D)that was kept secret for ^(E)long ages ²⁶ but ^(F)has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, ^(G)to bring about the obedience of faith—

Christ the Hope of Jews and Gentiles

⁸ For I tell you that Christ ^(A)became a servant to the circumcised to show God's truthfulness, in order ^(B)to confirm the promises given to the patriarchs, ⁹ and in order ^(C)that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written,

¹⁰ And again it is said,

¹¹ And again,

¹² And again Isaiah says,

¹³ May the God of hope fill you with all ^(J)joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Paul the Minister to the Gentiles

^14 (K)I myself am satisfied about you, my brothers,^[a] that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with ^(L)all knowledge and able to instruct one another. ¹⁵ But on some points I have written to you very boldly by way of reminder, ^(M)because of the grace given me by God ¹⁶ to be ^(N)a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles ^(O)in the priestly service of the gospel of God, so that ^(P)the offering of the Gentiles may be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit. ¹⁷ In Christ Jesus, then, I have ^(Q)reason to be proud of ^(R)my work for God. ¹⁸ For I will not venture to speak of anything except ^(S)what Christ has accomplished through me ^(T)to bring the Gentiles to obedience—by word and deed, ^19 (U)by the power of signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God—so that ^(V)from Jerusalem and all the way around ^(W)to Illyricum I have fulfilled the ministry of the gospel of Christ;
