Make Your Face Shine upon Us

To the choirmaster: with ^(A)stringed instruments. A Psalm. A Song.

¹⁷ Now therefore, O our God, listen to the prayer of your servant and to his pleas for mercy, and for your own sake, O Lord,^{[a] (A)}make your face to shine upon ^(B)your sanctuary, which is desolate.

¹⁹ And he said, ^(A)“I will make all my goodness pass before you and will proclaim before you my name ‘The Lord.’ And ^(B)I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.

⁹ And now ^(A)entreat the favor of God, that he may be gracious to us. With such a gift from your hand, ^(B)will he show favor to any of you? says the Lord of hosts.

²⁹ And he lifted up his eyes and saw his brother Benjamin, ^(A)his mother's son, and said, “Is this your youngest brother, ^(B)of whom you spoke to me? God be gracious to you, my son!”
