¹² and separate themselves to the Lord for their days as nazirites and bring a male lamb a year old as a guilt offering. The former time shall be void because the nazarite was defiled.^(A)

⁶ and you shall bring to the Lord, as your penalty for the sin that you have committed, a female from the flock, a sheep or a goat, as a purification offering, and the priest shall make atonement on your behalf for your sin.

⁸ Be on your guard, so that you do not lose what we^[a] have worked for but may receive a full reward.^(A)

¹⁰ For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become accountable for all of it.^(A)

²⁹ And the one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what is pleasing to him.”^{(A) 30} As he was saying these things, many believed in him.

True Disciples

³¹ Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples,

¹³ But the one who endures to the end will be saved.^(A)

¹⁵ But Jesus answered him, “Let it be so now, for it is proper for us in this way to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he consented.

²⁴ But when the righteous turn away from their righteousness and commit iniquity and do the same abominable things that the wicked do, shall they live? None of the righteous deeds that they have done shall be remembered, for the treachery of which they are guilty and the sin they have committed, they shall die.^(A)

²⁴ and the priest shall take the lamb of the guilt offering and the log^[a] of oil, and the priest shall raise them as an elevation offering before the Lord.^(A)
