¹² and separate himself to the Lord for the days of his separation and bring a male lamb a year old ^(A)for a guilt offering. But the previous period shall be void, because his separation was defiled.

⁶ he shall bring to the Lord as his compensation^[a] for the sin that he has committed, a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a sin offering. And the priest shall make atonement for him for his sin.

⁸ Watch yourselves, ^(A)so that you may not lose what we^[a] have worked for, but ^(B)may win a full reward.

¹⁰ For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point ^(A)has become guilty of all of it.

²⁹ And ^(A)he who sent me is with me. ^(B)He has not left me alone, for ^(C)I always do the things that are pleasing to him.” ³⁰ As he was saying these things, ^(D)many believed in him.

The Truth Will Set You Free

³¹ So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, ^(E)“If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples,

^13 (A)But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

¹⁵ But Jesus answered him, “Let it be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he consented.

^24 (A)But when a righteous person turns away from his righteousness and does injustice and does the same abominations that the wicked person does, shall he live? ^(B)None of the righteous deeds that he has done shall be remembered; for ^(C)the treachery of which he is guilty and the sin he has committed, for them he shall die.

^24 (A)And the priest shall take the lamb of the guilt offering and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the Lord.
