¹¹ The priest is to offer one as a sin offering^[a](A) and the other as a burnt offering^(B) to make atonement^(C) for the Nazirite because they sinned by being in the presence of the dead body. That same day they are to consecrate their head again.

³⁰ Then he shall sacrifice the doves or the young pigeons, such as the person can afford,^{(A) 31} one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering,^(B) together with the grain offering. In this way the priest will make atonement before the Lord on behalf of the one to be cleansed.^(C)”

⁸ They are to bring them to the priest, who shall first offer the one for the sin offering. He is to wring its head from its neck,^(A) not dividing it completely,^{(B) 9} and is to splash^(C) some of the blood of the sin offering against the side of the altar;^(D) the rest of the blood must be drained out at the base of the altar.^(E) It is a sin offering. ¹⁰ The priest shall then offer the other as a burnt offering in the prescribed way^(F) and make atonement^(G) for them for the sin they have committed, and they will be forgiven.^(H)
