⁸ If the injured party has no next of kin to whom restitution may be made for the wrong, the restitution for wrong shall go to the Lord for the priest, in addition to the ram of atonement with which atonement is made for the guilty party.^(A)

⁶ And you shall bring to the priest, as your guilt offering to the Lord, a ram without blemish from the flock, or its equivalent, for a guilt offering.^{(A) 7} The priest shall make atonement on your behalf before the Lord, and you shall be forgiven for any of the things that one may do and incur guilt thereby.”^(B)

⁷ “The guilt offering is like the purification offering; the same rule applies to them: the priest who makes atonement with it shall have it.^(A)
