⁶ Then they are to cover the curtain with a durable leather,^[a](A) spread a cloth of solid blue over that and put the poles^(B) in place.

¹³ Then make poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.^{(A) 14} Insert the poles^(B) into the rings on the sides of the ark to carry it. ¹⁵ The poles are to remain in the rings of this ark; they are not to be removed.^(C)

⁷ The cherubim spread their wings over the place of the ark and overshadowed^(A) the ark and its carrying poles. ⁸ These poles were so long that their ends could be seen from the Holy Place in front of the inner sanctuary, but not from outside the Holy Place; and they are still there today.^(B)

¹¹ “Over the gold altar^(A) they are to spread a blue cloth and cover that with the durable leather and put the poles^(B) in place.

¹² “They are to take all the articles^(C) used for ministering in the sanctuary, wrap them in a blue cloth, cover that with the durable leather and put them on a carrying frame.^(D)

¹³ “They are to remove the ashes^(E) from the bronze altar^(F) and spread a purple cloth over it.

⁷ “Over the table of the Presence^(A) they are to spread a blue cloth and put on it the plates, dishes and bowls, and the jars for drink offerings;^(B) the bread that is continually there^(C) is to remain on it. ⁸ They are to spread a scarlet cloth over them, cover that with the durable leather and put the poles^(D) in place.

⁴¹ and the woven garments^(A) worn for ministering in the sanctuary, both the sacred garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons when serving as priests.

The Priestly Garments

39 From the blue, purple and scarlet yarn^(A) they made woven garments for ministering in the sanctuary.^(B) They also made sacred garments^(C) for Aaron, as the Lord commanded Moses.
