⁴⁴ and their enrollment by their clans was three thousand two hundred.

⁹ but he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power^[a] is made perfect in weakness.” So I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.^{(A) 10} Therefore I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities for the sake of Christ, for whenever I am weak, then I am strong.^(B)

⁸ To one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit,^{(A) 9} to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit,^{(B) 10} to another the working of powerful deeds, to another prophecy, to another the discernment of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.^{(C) 11} All these are activated by one and the same Spirit, who allots to each one individually just as the Spirit chooses.^(D)

One Body with Many Members

¹² For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.^(E)

¹³ No testing has overtaken you that is not common to everyone. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tested beyond your strength, but with the testing he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it.^(A)

³⁴ Their enrollment, counting all the males from a month old and up, was six thousand two hundred.
