³² as well as the posts of the surrounding courtyard with their bases, tent pegs, ropes,^(A) all their equipment and everything related to their use. Assign to each man the specific things he is to carry.

The Materials Used

²¹ These are the amounts of the materials used for the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the covenant law,^(A) which were recorded at Moses’ command by the Levites under the direction of Ithamar^(B) son of Aaron, the priest.

²⁹ Others were assigned to take care of the furnishings and all the other articles of the sanctuary,^(A) as well as the special flour and wine, and the olive oil, incense and spices.

Offerings at the Dedication of the Tabernacle

7 When Moses finished setting up the tabernacle,^(A) he anointed^(B) and consecrated it and all its furnishings.^(C) He also anointed and consecrated the altar and all its utensils.^(D)

⁸ They are to take care of all the furnishings of the tent of meeting, fulfilling the obligations of the Israelites by doing the work of the tabernacle.

¹⁷ The bases for the posts were bronze. The hooks and bands on the posts were silver, and their tops were overlaid with silver; so all the posts of the courtyard had silver bands.
