²⁵ They shall carry the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tent of meeting with its covering, and the outer covering of fine leather^[a] that is on top of it, and the screen for the entrance of the tent of meeting,^(A)

²⁵ The responsibility of the sons of Gershon in the tent of meeting was the tabernacle, the tent with its covering, the screen for the entrance of the tent of meeting,^{(A) 26} the hangings of the court, the screen for the entrance of the court that is around the tabernacle and the altar, and its cords—all the service pertaining to these.

¹⁴ You shall make for the tent a covering of tanned rams’ skins and an outer covering of fine leather.^[a](A)

⁵ “Accept these from them, that they may be used in doing the service of the tent of meeting, and give them to the Levites, to each according to his service.” ⁶ So Moses took the wagons and the oxen and gave them to the Levites. ⁷ Two wagons and four oxen he gave to the Gershonites, according to their service,^(A)
