¹³ “They are to remove the ashes^(A) from the bronze altar^(B) and spread a purple cloth over it.

¹² The fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must not go out. Every morning the priest is to add firewood^(A) and arrange the burnt offering on the fire and burn the fat^(B) of the fellowship offerings^(C) on it. ¹³ The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out.

¹¹ “Over the gold altar^(A) they are to spread a blue cloth and cover that with the durable leather and put the poles^(B) in place.

¹² “They are to take all the articles^(C) used for ministering in the sanctuary, wrap them in a blue cloth, cover that with the durable leather and put them on a carrying frame.^(D)

⁶ Then they are to cover the curtain with a durable leather,^[a](A) spread a cloth of solid blue over that and put the poles^(B) in place.

⁷ “Over the table of the Presence^(C) they are to spread a blue cloth and put on it the plates, dishes and bowls, and the jars for drink offerings;^(D) the bread that is continually there^(E) is to remain on it. ⁸ They are to spread a scarlet cloth over them, cover that with the durable leather and put the poles^(F) in place.

⁹ “They are to take a blue cloth and cover the lampstand that is for light, together with its lamps, its wick trimmers and trays,^(G) and all its jars for the olive oil used to supply it.

⁴¹ and the woven garments^(A) worn for ministering in the sanctuary, both the sacred garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons when serving as priests.

The Priestly Garments

39 From the blue, purple and scarlet yarn^(A) they made woven garments for ministering in the sanctuary.^(B) They also made sacred garments^(C) for Aaron, as the Lord commanded Moses.

The Altar of Burnt Offering^(A)

27 “Build an altar^(B) of acacia wood, three cubits^[a] high; it is to be square, five cubits long and five cubits wide.^{[b] 2} Make a horn^(C) at each of the four corners, so that the horns and the altar are of one piece, and overlay the altar with bronze. ³ Make all its utensils of bronze—its pots to remove the ashes, and its shovels, sprinkling bowls,^(D) meat forks and firepans.^{(E) 4} Make a grating for it, a bronze network, and make a bronze ring at each of the four corners of the network. ⁵ Put it under the ledge of the altar so that it is halfway up the altar. ⁶ Make poles of acacia wood for the altar and overlay them with bronze.^{(F) 7} The poles are to be inserted into the rings so they will be on two sides of the altar when it is carried.^{(G) 8} Make the altar hollow, out of boards. It is to be made just as you were shown^(H) on the mountain.
