¹³ And they shall take away the ashes from the altar and spread a purple cloth over it.

¹² The fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not go out. The priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and he shall arrange the burnt offering on it and shall burn on it ^(A)the fat of the peace offerings. ¹³ Fire shall be kept burning on the altar continually; it shall not go out.

¹¹ And over ^(A)the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue and cover it with a covering of goatskin, and shall put in its poles. ¹² And they shall take all ^(B)the vessels of the service that are used in the sanctuary and put them in a cloth of blue and cover them with a covering of goatskin and put them on the carrying frame.

⁶ Then they shall put on it a covering of goatskin^[a] and spread on top of that a cloth all of blue, and shall put in its ^(A)poles. ⁷ And over the ^(B)table of the bread of the Presence they shall spread a cloth of blue and put on it the plates, the dishes for incense, the bowls, and the flagons for the drink offering; ^(C)the regular showbread also shall be on it. ⁸ Then they shall spread over them a cloth of scarlet and cover the same with a covering of goatskin, and shall ^(D)put in its poles. ⁹ And they shall take a cloth of blue and cover ^(E)the lampstand for the light, with its lamps, its tongs, its trays, and all the vessels for oil with which it is supplied.

⁴¹ the finely worked garments for ministering in the Holy Place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons for their service as priests.

Making the Priestly Garments

39 From the ^(A)blue and purple and scarlet yarns they made ^(B)finely woven garments,^[a] for ministering in the Holy Place. They made the holy garments for Aaron, ^(C)as the Lord had commanded Moses.

The Bronze Altar

27 “You shall make the ^(A)altar of acacia wood, five cubits^[a] long and five cubits broad. The altar shall be square, and its height shall be three cubits. ² And you shall make ^(B)horns for it on its four corners; its horns shall be of one piece with it, and ^(C)you shall overlay it with bronze. ³ You shall make pots for it to receive its ashes, and shovels and basins and ^(D)forks and fire pans. You shall make all its utensils of bronze. ⁴ You shall also make for it a grating, a network of bronze, and on the net you shall make four bronze rings at its four corners. ⁵ And you shall set it under the ledge of the altar so that the net extends halfway down the altar. ⁶ And you shall make poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with bronze. ⁷ And the poles shall be put through the rings, so that the poles are on the two sides of the altar when it is carried. ⁸ You shall make it hollow, with boards. ^(E)As it has been shown you on the mountain, so shall it be made.
