³⁷ They set out from Kadesh and camped at Mount Hor, on the edge of the land of Edom.^(A)

⁴ From Mount Hor they set out by the way to the Red Sea,^[a] to go around the land of Edom, but the people became discouraged on the way.^(A)

The Death of Aaron

²² They set out from Kadesh, and the Israelites, the whole congregation, came to Mount Hor.^{(A) 23} Then the Lord said to Moses and Aaron at Mount Hor, on the border of the land of Edom,

¹⁶ and when we cried to the Lord, he heard our voice and sent an angel and brought us out of Egypt, and here we are in Kadesh, a town on the edge of your territory.^(A)
