² As an aroma pleasing to the Lord,^(A) offer a burnt offering^(B) of one young bull, one ram and seven male lambs a year old,^(C) all without defect.^(D)

¹⁰ And by that will, we have been made holy^(A) through the sacrifice of the body^(B) of Jesus Christ once for all.^(C)

¹¹ Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices,^(D) which can never take away sins.^{(E) 12} But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins,^(F) he sat down at the right hand of God,^{(G) 13} and since that time he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool.^{(H) 14} For by one sacrifice he has made perfect^(I) forever those who are being made holy.^(J)
