⁸ God brings him out of Egypt
    and is for him like the ^(A)horns of the wild ox;
he shall ^(B)eat up the nations, his adversaries,
    and shall ^(C)break their bones in pieces
    and ^(D)pierce them through with his arrows.

⁵ Your arrows are sharp
    in the heart of the king's enemies;
    the peoples fall under you.

^22 (A)God brings them out of Egypt
    and is for them like ^(B)the horns of the wild ox.

⁹ You shall ^(A)break^[a] them with ^(B)a rod of iron
    and dash them in pieces like ^(C)a potter's vessel.”

²⁴ Behold, a people! ^(A)As a lioness it rises up
    and as a lion it lifts itself;
^(B)it does not lie down until it has devoured the prey
    and drunk the blood of the slain.”
