¹⁹ The Israelites said to him, “We will stay on the highway, and if we drink of your water, we and our livestock, then we will pay for it. It is only a small matter; just let us pass through on foot.”^(A)

²⁸ You shall sell me food for money, so that I may eat, and supply me water for money, so that I may drink. Only allow me to pass through on foot^(A)—

⁶ You shall purchase food from them for money, so that you may eat, and you shall also buy water from them for money, so that you may drink.

³⁸ A mixed crowd also went up with them and livestock in great numbers, both flocks and herds.^(A)
