^11 (A)‘He who touches the dead ^[a]body of anyone shall be unclean seven days.

² “Command the children of Israel that they put out of the camp every ^(A)leper, everyone who has a ^(B)discharge, and whoever becomes ^(C)defiled ^[a]by a corpse.

¹⁹ And as for you, ^(A)remain outside the camp seven days; whoever has killed any person, and ^(B)whoever has touched any slain, purify yourselves and your captives on the third day and on the seventh day.

Regulations for Conduct of Priests^(A)

21 And the Lord said to Moses, “Speak to the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say to them: ^(B)‘None shall defile himself for the dead among his people,

^16 (A)Whoever in the open field touches one who is slain by a sword or who has died, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.

¹⁰ “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘If anyone of you or your ^[a]posterity is unclean because of a corpse, or is far away on a journey, he may still keep the Lord’s Passover.

⁶ Now there were certain men who were ^(A)defiled by a human corpse, so that they could not keep the Passover on that day; ^(B)and they came before Moses and Aaron that day.

¹¹ nor shall he go ^(A)near any dead body, nor defile himself for his father or his mother;

¹⁴ how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without ^[a]spot to God, ^(A)cleanse your conscience from ^(B)dead works ^(C)to serve the living God?
