³⁰ Therefore you shall say to them: ‘When you have lifted up the best of it, then the rest shall be accounted to the Levites as the produce of the threshing floor and as the produce of the winepress.

⁸ Yet indeed I also count all things loss ^(A)for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ ⁹ and be found in Him, not having ^(B)my own righteousness, which is from the law, but ^(C)that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

^37 (A)He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. ^38 (B)And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. ^39 (C)He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.

³³ But ^(A)seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

^5 (A)You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, ^(B)with all your soul, and with all your strength.

²⁷ And your heave offering shall be reckoned to you as though it were the grain of the ^(A)threshing floor and as the fullness of the winepress. ²⁸ Thus you shall also offer a heave offering to the Lord from all your tithes which you receive from the children of Israel, and you shall give the Lord’s heave offering from it to Aaron the priest.

¹¹ And their father Israel said to them, “If it must be so, then do this: Take some of the best fruits of the land in your vessels and ^(A)carry down a present for the man—a little ^(B)balm and a little honey, spices and myrrh, pistachio nuts and almonds.
