¹⁵ “Everything that first opens ^(A)the womb of all flesh, which they bring to the Lord, whether man or beast, shall be yours; nevertheless ^(B)the firstborn of man you shall surely redeem, and the firstborn of unclean animals you shall redeem.

²⁰ But ^(A)the firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb. And if you will not redeem him, then you shall break his neck. All the firstborn of your sons you shall redeem.

“And none shall appear before Me ^(B)empty-handed.

^2 (A)“Consecrate^[a] to Me all the firstborn, whatever opens the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and beast; it is Mine.”

^12 (A)that you shall ^[a]set apart to the Lord all that open the womb, that is, every firstborn that comes from an animal which you have; the males shall be the Lord’s. ¹³ But ^(B)every firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb; and if you will not redeem it, then you shall break its neck. And all the firstborn of man among your sons ^(C)you shall redeem.

⁴⁶ And for ^(A)the redemption of the two hundred and seventy-three of the firstborn of the children of Israel, ^(B)who are more than the number of the Levites,

¹³ because ^(A)all the firstborn are Mine. ^(B)On the day that I struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, I sanctified to Myself all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast. They shall be Mine: I am the Lord.”

²⁶ ‘But the ^(A)firstborn of the animals, which should be the Lord’s firstborn, no man shall dedicate; whether it is an ox or sheep, it is the Lord’s. ²⁷ And if it is an unclean animal, then he shall redeem it according to your valuation, and ^(B)shall add one-fifth to it; or if it is not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to your valuation.

²⁹ “You shall not delay to offer ^(A)the first of your ripe produce and your juices. ^(B)The firstborn of your sons you shall give to Me.
