¹⁹ When Korah had gathered all his followers in opposition to them^(A) at the entrance to the tent of meeting, the glory of the Lord^(B) appeared to the entire assembly.

⁴² But when the assembly gathered in opposition^(A) to Moses and Aaron and turned toward the tent of meeting, suddenly the cloud covered it and the glory of the Lord^(B) appeared.

¹⁰ But the whole assembly talked about stoning^(A) them. Then the glory of the Lord^(B) appeared at the tent of meeting to all the Israelites.

²³ Moses and Aaron then went into the tent of meeting.^(A) When they came out, they blessed the people; and the glory of the Lord^(B) appeared to all the people.

⁷ and in the morning you will see the glory^(A) of the Lord, because he has heard your grumbling^(B) against him. Who are we, that you should grumble against us?”^(C)

⁶ Moses and Aaron went from the assembly to the entrance to the tent of meeting^(A) and fell facedown,^(B) and the glory of the Lord^(C) appeared to them.

Korah, Dathan and Abiram

16 Korah^(A) son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and certain Reubenites—Dathan and Abiram^(B), sons of Eliab,^(C) and On son of Peleth—became insolent^{[a] 2} and rose up against Moses.^(D) With them were 250 Israelite men, well-known community leaders who had been appointed members of the council.^(E)

⁵ Then the Lord came down in a pillar of cloud;^(A) he stood at the entrance to the tent and summoned Aaron and Miriam. When the two of them stepped forward,

⁶ Then Moses said, “This is what the Lord has commanded you to do, so that the glory of the Lord^(A) may appear to you.”
