^30 (A)But the person who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native or a sojourner, reviles the Lord, and that person shall be cut off from among his people.

²⁶ For ^(A)if we go on sinning deliberately ^(B)after receiving the knowledge of the truth, ^(C)there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,

⁴³ So I spoke to you, and you would not listen; but you rebelled against the command of the Lord and ^(A)presumptuously went up into the hill country.

¹⁹ one who, when he hears the words of this sworn covenant, blesses himself in his heart, saying, ‘I shall be safe, though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart.’ This will lead to the sweeping away of moist and dry alike. ²⁰ The Lord will not be willing to forgive him, but rather ^(A)the anger of the Lord and ^(B)his jealousy will smoke against that man, and the curses written in this book will settle upon him, and the Lord ^(C)will blot out his name from under heaven.

²⁹ How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one ^(A)who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned ^(B)the blood of the covenant ^(C)by which he was sanctified, and has ^(D)outraged the Spirit of grace?

¹² The man who ^(A)acts presumptuously by not obeying the priest ^(B)who stands to minister there before the Lord your God, or the judge, that man shall die. So ^(C)you shall purge the evil from Israel. ¹³ And all the people ^(D)shall hear and fear and not act presumptuously again.

³² And whoever speaks a word ^(A)against the Son of Man ^(B)will be forgiven, but ^(C)whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in ^(D)this age or in the age to come.

⁴⁰ And they rose early in the morning and went up to the heights of the hill country, saying, ^(A)“Here we are. We will go up to the place that the Lord has promised, for we have sinned.” ^41 (B)But Moses said, “Why now are you transgressing the command of the Lord, when that will not succeed? ^42 (C)Do not go up, ^(D)for the Lord is not among you, lest you be struck down before your enemies. ⁴³ For there ^(E)the Amalekites and the Canaanites are facing you, and you shall fall by the sword. Because you have turned back from following the Lord, the Lord will not be with you.” ^44 (F)But they presumed to go up to the heights of the hill country, although neither ^(G)the ark of the covenant of the Lord nor Moses departed out of the camp.
