³⁰ not one shall come into the land where I ^(A)swore that I would make you dwell, ^(B)except Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun.

^36 (A)except Caleb the son of Jephunneh. He shall see it, and to him and to his children I will give the land on which he has trodden, because he has wholly followed the Lord!’ ³⁷ Even with me ^(B)the Lord was angry on your account and said, ‘You also shall not go in there. ^38 (C)Joshua the son of Nun, ^(D)who stands before you, he shall enter. ^(E)Encourage him, for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.

⁶⁵ For the Lord had said of them, ^(A)“They shall die in the wilderness.” Not one of them was left, ^(B)except Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun.

³⁸ Of those men who went to spy out the land, ^(A)only Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh remained alive.

²² But Abram said to the king of Sodom, ^(A)“I have lifted my hand^[a] to the Lord, God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth,

¹² none except Caleb the son of Jephunneh the ^(A)Kenizzite and Joshua the son of Nun, for ^(B)they have wholly followed the Lord.’
