Numbers 16:28-30
King James Version
28 And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the Lord hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.
29 If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the Lord hath not sent me.
30 But if the Lord make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the Lord.

New International Version
28 Then Moses said, “This is how you will know(A) that the Lord has sent me(B) to do all these things and that it was not my idea: 29 If these men die a natural death and suffer the fate of all mankind, then the Lord has not sent me.(C) 30 But if the Lord brings about something totally new, and the earth opens its mouth(D) and swallows them, with everything that belongs to them, and they go down alive into the realm of the dead,(E) then you will know that these men have treated the Lord with contempt.(F)”
