34 Entonces el Señor habló a Moisés: 2 «Manda a los israelitas y diles: “Cuando entren en la tierra de Canaán, esta es la tierra que les tocará como herencia, la tierra de Canaán(A) según sus fronteras. 3 Su límite sur será desde el desierto de Zin, por la frontera de Edom, y su frontera sur será desde el extremo del mar Salado(B) hacia el oriente(C). 4 Luego, la frontera de ustedes cambiará de dirección, del sur a la subida de Acrabim y continuará a Zin, y su término será al sur de Cades Barnea(D); y llegará a Hasaradar y continuará hasta Asmón. 5 Y la frontera cambiará de dirección de Asmón al torrente de Egipto, y su término será el mar Grande(E).
6 ”En cuanto a la frontera occidental, tendrán el mar Grande, esto es, su costa; esta será su frontera occidental.
7 ”Y esta será su frontera norte: trazarán la línea fronteriza desde el mar Grande hasta el monte Hor(F). 8 Trazarán una línea desde el monte Hor hasta Lebo Hamat(G), y el término de la frontera será Zedad; 9 y la frontera seguirá hacia Zifrón, y su término será Hazar Enán. Esta será su frontera norte.
10 ”Para su frontera oriental, trazarán también una línea desde Hazar Enán hasta Sefam, 11 y la frontera descenderá de Sefam a Ribla(H), sobre el lado oriental de Aín; y la frontera descenderá y alcanzará la ribera sobre el lado oriental del mar de Cineret(I). 12 Y la frontera descenderá al Jordán, y su término será el mar Salado. Esta será la tierra de ustedes, según sus fronteras alrededor”».
13 Entonces Moisés dio órdenes a los israelitas y les dijo: «Esta es la tierra que repartirán por sorteo entre ustedes como posesión, la cual el Señor ha ordenado dar a las nueve tribus y a la media tribu(J). 14 Pues la tribu de los hijos de Rubén ha recibido lo suyo según sus casas paternas, y la tribu de los hijos de Gad según sus casas paternas y la media tribu de Manasés han recibido su posesión(K). 15 Las dos tribus y la media tribu han recibido su posesión al otro lado del Jordán, frente a Jericó, al oriente, hacia la salida del sol».
16 Entonces el Señor dijo a Moisés: 17 «Estos son los nombres de los hombres que les repartirán la tierra por heredad: el sacerdote Eleazar y Josué, hijo de Nun(L). 18 De cada tribu tomarás un jefe para repartir la tierra por heredad. 19 Y estos son los nombres de los hombres: de la tribu de Judá(M), Caleb, hijo de Jefone(N). 20 De la tribu de los hijos de Simeón(O), Semuel, hijo de Amiud. 21 De la tribu de Benjamín(P), Elidad, hijo de Quislón. 22 De la tribu de los hijos de Dan, un jefe: Buqui, hijo de Jogli. 23 De los hijos de José: de la tribu de los hijos de Manasés, un jefe: Haniel, hijo de Efod. 24 De la tribu de los hijos de Efraín, un jefe: Kemuel, hijo de Siftán. 25 De la tribu de los hijos de Zabulón, un jefe: Elizafán, hijo de Parnac. 26 De la tribu de los hijos de Isacar, un jefe: Paltiel, hijo de Azán. 27 De la tribu de los hijos de Aser, un jefe: Ahiud, hijo de Selomi. 28 Y de la tribu de los hijos de Neftalí, un jefe: Pedael, hijo de Amiud». 29 Estos son los que el Señor mandó que repartieran la heredad a los israelitas en la tierra de Canaán.

34 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:)
3 Then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom, and your south border shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward:
4 And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadeshbarnea, and shall go on to Hazaraddar, and pass on to Azmon:
5 And the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea.
6 And as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be your west border.
7 And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall point out for you mount Hor:
8 From mount Hor ye shall point out your border unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings forth of the border shall be to Zedad:
9 And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazarenan: this shall be your north border.
10 And ye shall point out your east border from Hazarenan to Shepham:
11 And the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward:
12 And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof round about.
13 And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which the Lord commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half tribe:
14 For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance:
15 The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side Jordan near Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.
16 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
17 These are the names of the men which shall divide the land unto you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.
18 And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land by inheritance.
19 And the names of the men are these: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
20 And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.
21 Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.
22 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli.
23 The prince of the children of Joseph, for the tribe of the children of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod.
24 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.
25 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Zebulun, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.
26 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Issachar, Paltiel the son of Azzan.
27 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.
28 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.
29 These are they whom the Lord commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.

The Appointed Boundaries of Canaan
34 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Command the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you come into (A)the land of Canaan, this is the land that shall fall to you as an inheritance—the land of Canaan to its boundaries. 3 (B)Your southern border shall be from the Wilderness of Zin along the border of Edom; then your southern border shall extend eastward to the end of (C)the Salt Sea; 4 your border shall turn from the southern side of (D)the Ascent of Akrabbim, continue to Zin, and be on the south of (E)Kadesh Barnea; then it shall go on to (F)Hazar Addar, and continue to Azmon; 5 the border shall turn from Azmon (G)to the Brook of Egypt, and it shall end at the Sea.
6 ‘As for the (H)western border, you shall have the Great Sea for a border; this shall be your western border.
7 ‘And this shall be your northern border: From the Great Sea you shall mark out your border line to (I)Mount Hor; 8 from Mount Hor you shall mark out your border (J)to the entrance of Hamath; then the direction of the border shall be toward (K)Zedad; 9 the border shall proceed to Ziphron, and it shall end at (L)Hazar Enan. This shall be your northern border.
10 ‘You shall mark out your eastern border from Hazar Enan to Shepham; 11 the border shall go down from Shepham (M)to Riblah on the east side of Ain; the border shall go down and reach to the eastern [a]side of the Sea (N)of Chinnereth; 12 the border shall go down along the Jordan, and it shall end at (O)the Salt Sea. This shall be your land with its surrounding boundaries.’ ”
13 Then Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying: (P)“This is the land which you shall inherit by lot, which the Lord has commanded to give to the nine tribes and to the half-tribe. 14 (Q)For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and the half-tribe of Manasseh has received its inheritance. 15 The two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance on this side of the Jordan, across from Jericho eastward, toward the sunrise.”
The Leaders Appointed to Divide the Land
16 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 17 “These are the names of the men who shall divide the land among you as an inheritance: (R)Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun. 18 And you shall take one (S)leader of every tribe to divide the land for the inheritance. 19 These are the names of the men: from the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh; 20 from the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud; 21 from the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon; 22 a leader from the tribe of the children of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli; 23 from the sons of Joseph: a leader from the tribe of the children of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod, 24 and a leader from the tribe of the children of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan; 25 a leader from the tribe of the children of Zebulun, Elizaphan the son of Parnach; 26 a leader from the tribe of the children of Issachar, Paltiel the son of Azzan; 27 a leader from the tribe of the children of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi; 28 and a leader from the tribe of the children of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.”
29 These are the ones the Lord commanded to [b]divide the inheritance among the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.
