Жители Иерусалима и Иудеи(A)

11 Вожди народа поселились в Иерусалиме, а остальной народ бросал жребий, чтобы выбрать одного из десяти для того, чтобы жить в Иерусалиме, святом городе, тогда как прочие девять оставались в своих городах. 2 Народ хвалил всех, кто добровольно соглашался жить в Иерусалиме.

3 Вот вожди провинции, которые поселились в Иерусалиме (некоторые исроильтяне, священнослужители, левиты, храмовые слуги и потомки слуг Сулаймона жили в городах Иудеи, каждый – в своём владении в различных городах, 4 а остальной народ из Иуды и из Вениамина жил в Иерусалиме).

Из потомков Иуды:

Атая, сын Уззии, сына Закарии, сына Амарии, сына Шефатии, сына Малелеила, потомка Фареца; 5 и Маасея, сын Баруха, сына Кол-Хозе, сына Хазаи, сына Адаи, сына Иоярива, сына Закарии, потомка Шелы. 6 Потомков Фареца, который жил в Иерусалиме, было 468 храбрых воинов.

7 Из потомков Вениамина:

Саллу, сын Мешуллама, сына Иоеда, сына Педаи, сына Колаи, сына Маасея, сына Итиила, сына Иешаи, 8 и за ним Габбай и Саллай – 928 человек. 9 Иоиль, сын Зихри, был над ними начальником, а Иуда, сын Ассенуа, был вторым над городом.

10 Из священнослужителей:

Иедая, сын Иоярива, Иахин, 11 распорядитель в доме Всевышнего Серая, сын Хилкии, сына Мешуллама, сына Цадока, сына Мерайота, сына Ахитува, 12 и их собратья, исполняющие работы при храме – 822 человека; Адая, сын Иерохама, сына Пелалии, сына Амци, сына Закарии, сына Пашхура, сына Малхии, 13 и его собратья, которые были главами семейств, – 242 человека; Амашсай, сын Азарила, сын Ахзая, сын Мешиллемота, сына Иммера, 14 и его[a] собратья – храбрые воины – 128 человек. Начальником над ними был Завдиил, сын Аггедолима.

15 Из левитов:

Шемая, сын Хашува, сына Азрикама, сына Хашавии, сына Бунни; 16 Шаббетай и Иозавад, двое из глав левитов, которым был вверен надзор за внешней работой при доме Всевышнего; 17 Маттания, сын Михи, сына Завди, сына Ософа, главный начинатель благодарения при молитве; Бакбукия, второй среди его собратьев, и Авда, сын Шаммуа, сына Галала, сына Иедутуна. 18 Всего левитов в святом городе было 284 человека.

19 Привратники:

Аккув, Талмон и их собратья, которые несли дозор при воротах, – 172 человека.

20 Остальные исроильтяне со священнослужителями и левитами находились во всех городах Иудеи, каждый в своём наделе.

21 Храмовые слуги жили на холме Офел, и начальниками над ними были Циха и Гишпа.

22 Начальником левитов в Иерусалиме был Уззий, сын Бани, сына Хашавии, сына Маттании, сына Михи. Уззий был одним из потомков Ософа, певцов, ответственных за служение в доме Всевышнего. 23 Было особое царское повеление о них, которое определяло их ежедневное содержание.

24 Петахия, сын Мешезавила, один из потомков сына Иуды Зераха, был царским представителем во всех делах, касающихся народа.

25 А что касается селений с их полями, то некоторые из народа Иудеи жили в Кириат-Арбе и её окрестных селениях, в Дивоне и его селениях, в Кавцеиле и его селениях, 26 в Иешуа, в Моладе, в Бет-Пелете, 27 в Хацар-Шуале, в Беэр-Шеве и её селениях, 28 в Циклаге, в Мехоне и её селениях, 29 в Ен-Риммоне, в Цоре, в Иармуте, 30 Заноахе, Адулламе и их селениях, в Лахише и на его полях и в Азеке и её селениях. Они обитали от Беэр-Шевы до долины Гинном.

31 Потомки вениамитян из Гевы жили в Михмасе, Гае, Вефиле и его селениях, 32 в Анатоте, Нове и Анании, 33 в Хацоре, Раме и Гиттаиме, 34 в Хадиде, Цевоиме и Неваллате, 35 в Лоде и Оно, и в Ге-Харашиме («долине ремесленников»).

36 Некоторые из групп левитов Иудеи поселились в землях Вениамина.

The Leaders and Servants in Jerusalem

11 Now the commanders of the people lived in Jerusalem, but the remainder of the people cast lots to bring one out of ten to live in the holy city of Jerusalem, the other nine’s place was in the other cities. 2 And the people blessed all the men who willingly offered to live in Jerusalem.

3 These are the heads of the province who lived in Jerusalem, but in the cities of Judah each one lived on his property in their cities: Israel, the priests, the Levites, the temple servants, and the descendants[a] of Solomon’s servants. 4 And some from the descendants[b] of Judah and Benjamin lived in Jerusalem. From the descendants[c] of Judah: Athaiah son of Uzziah, son of Zechariah, son of Amariah, son of Shephatiah, son of Mahalalel, from the descendants[d] of Perez; 5 and Maaseiah son of Baruch, son of Col-Hozeh, son of Hazaiah, son of Adaiah, son of Jehoiarib, son of Zechariah, son[e] of the Shilonite. 6 All of the descendants[f] of Perez who were living in Jerusalem were four hundred and sixty-eight able-bodied men.

7 These are the descendants[g] of Benjamin: Sallu son of Meshullam, son of Joed, son of Pedaiah, son of Kolaiah, son of Maaseiah, son of Ithiel, son of Jeshaiah. 8 And following after him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred and twenty-eight. 9 And Joel son of Zicri, their chief officer; and Judah son of Hassenuah, second in command over the city.

10 From the priests: Jedaiah son of Jehoiarib, Jakin, 11 Seraiah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub—the leader of the house of God— 12 and their brothers who did the work of the house, eight hundred and twenty-two. And Adaiah son of Jeroham, son of Pelaliah, son of Amzi, son of Zechariah, son of Pashhur, son of Malkijah, 13 and his brothers, heads of the families,[h] two hundred and forty-two. And Amashai son of Azarel, son of Ahzai, son of Meshillemoth, son of Immer, 14 and their brothers; mighty warriors of strength, one hundred and twenty-eight. The chief officer over them was Zabdiel son of Hagedolim.

15 Now from the Levites: Shemaiah son of Hasshub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, son of Bunni; 16 and Shabbethai and Jehozabad, leaders over the work of the Levites outside of the house of God; 17 Mattaniah son of Micah, son of Zabdi, son[i] of Asaph, who was the leader to begin the thanksgiving prayer, and Bakbukiah the second of his brothers; Abda son of Shammua, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun. 18 All of the Levites in the holy city were two hundred and eighty-four.

19 The gatekeepers: Akkub, Talmon, and their brothers, the keepers of the gates, one hundred and seventy-two. 20 And the remainder of Israel, the priests and the Levites, in all of the cities of Judah, each in his inheritance. 21 But the temple servants were living on the Ophel; Ziha and Gishpa were over the temple servants.

22 The chief officer of the Levites in Jerusalem was Uzzi son of Bani, son of Hashabiah, son of Mattaniah, son of Mica, from the descendants[j] of Asaph, the singers over the work of the house of God. 23 For there was a command of the king concerning them and a regulation concerning the singers, required day by day.[k] 24 And Pethahiah son of Meshezabel, from the descendants[l] of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the hand of the king in all matters concerning the people.

Villages Outside of Jerusalem

25 As for the villages in their territories, some from the descendants[m] of Judah lived in Kiriath-Arba and its settlements,[n] Dibon and its settlements,[o] Jekabzeel and its settlements,[p] 26 Jeshua, Moladah, Beth Pelet, 27 Hazar Shual, Beersheba and its settlements,[q] 28 Ziklad, Meconah and its settlements,[r] 29 En-Rimmon, Zorah, Jarmuch, 30 Zanoah, Adullam and their settlements,[s] Lachish and its fields, and Azekah and its settlements.[t] So they camped from Beersheba up to the Valley of Hinnom. 31 The descendants[u] of Benjamin from Geba, Micmash, Aija, Bethel and their settlements,[v] 32 Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah, 33 Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim, 34 Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat, 35 Lod, and Ono the valley of the artisans. 36 And from the Levites the working groups of Judah were assigned to Benjamin.
