Ang Pulong Sa Dios
Ang mga Lumulupyo sa Jerusalem
11 Niadtong panahona, ang mga pangulo sa katawhan sa Israel didto magpuyo sa Jerusalem. Nagripa ang katawhan aron nga sa matag napulo ka pamilya may usa ka pamilya nga mopuyo sa Jerusalem, ang balaan nga siyudad, samtang ang uban magpabilin sa ilang lungsod. 2 Gidayeg sa mga tawo ang tanang nagboluntaryo nga mopuyo sa Jerusalem.
3-4 Ang ubang mga Israelinhon, apil ang mga pari, mga Levita, mga sulugoon sa templo, ug ang mga kaliwat sa mga sulugoon ni Solomon, nagpabilin sa ilang kaugalingong mga yuta nga anaa sa nagkalain-laing mga lungsod sa Juda. Ang ubang mga katawhan sa Juda ug Benjamin nagpuyo sa Jerusalem.
Mao kini ang mga pangulo sa mga probinsya sa Juda ug Benjamin nga nagpuyo sa Jerusalem:
Gikan sa tribo ni Juda:
Si Ataya nga anak ni Uzia (si Uzia anak ni Zacarias; si Zacarias anak ni Amaria; si Amaria anak ni Shefatia; ug si Shefatia anak ni Mahalalel nga gikan sa kaliwat ni Perez);
5 Si Maasea nga anak ni Baruc (si Baruc anak ni Col Hoze; si Col Hoze anak ni Hazaya; si Hazaya anak ni Adaya; si Adaya anak ni Joyarib; ug si Joyarib anak ni Zacarias nga gikan sa kaliwat ni Shela).
6 (Sa mga kaliwat ni Perez, 468 ka maisog nga mga lalaki ang nagpuyo sa Jerusalem.)
7 Gikan sa tribo ni Benjamin:
Si Salu nga anak ni Meshulam (si Meshulam anak ni Joed; si Joed anak ni Pedaya; si Pedaya anak ni Kolaya; si Kolaya anak ni Maasea; si Maasea anak ni Itiel; ug si Itiel anak ni Jeshaya); 8 ang misunod kang Salu mao sila si Gabai ug Salai. Ang gidaghanon sa mga Benjaminhon 928 tanan.
9 Si Joel nga anak ni Zicri mao ang ilang labawng pangulo, ug si Juda nga anak ni Hasenua mao ang ikaduhang pangulo.
10 Gikan sa mga pari:
Si Jedaya nga anak ni Joyarib, si Jakin, 11 ug si Seraya nga anak ni Hilkia (si Hilkia anak ni Meshulam; si Meshulam anak ni Zadok; si Zadok anak ni Merayot; ug si Merayot anak ni Ahitub nga tigdumala sa templo sa Dios); 12 uban usab ang 822 ka mga kauban nila nga nagatrabaho sa templo;
Si Adaya nga anak ni Jeroham (si Jeroham anak ni Pelalia; si Pelalia anak ni Amzi; si Amzi anak ni Zacarias; si Zacarias anak ni Pashur; si Pashur anak ni Malkia); 13 ang mga katabang ni Adaya nga 242 ka mga lalaki nga mga pangulo sa mga pamilya;
Si Amasai nga anak ni Azarel (si Azarel anak ni Azai; si Azai anak ni Meshilemot; ug si Meshilemot anak ni Imer); 14 ang mga kauban ni Amasai nga 128 ka maisog nga mga lalaki.
Ang ilang labawng pangulo mao si Zabdiel nga anak ni Hagedolim.
15 Gikan sa mga Levita:
Si Shemaya nga anak ni Hashub (si Hashub anak ni Azrikam; si Azrikam anak ni Hashabia; ug si Hashabia anak ni Buni);
16 Si Shabetai ug si Jozabad nga duha sa mga pangulo sa mga Levita. Sila ang gitugyanan sa pagdumala sa mga buluhaton sa gawas sa templo;
17 Si Matania nga anak ni Micas (si Micas anak ni Zabdi, ug si Zabdi anak ni Asaf). Si Matania mao ang nangulo sa mga mag-aawit sa pag-awit sa pag-ampo sa pagpasalamat;
Si Bakbukia nga katabang ni Matania;
Si Abda nga anak ni Shamua (si Shamua anak ni Galal, ug si Galal anak ni Jedutun).
18 Mikabat ug 284 tanan ka mga Levita ang nagpuyo sa Jerusalem, ang balaan nga siyudad.
19 Gikan sa mga guwardya sa mga pultahan sa templo:
Si Akub ug si Talmon, ug ang ilang mga kauban nga guwardya nga 172 ka mga lalaki.
20 Ang uban nga mga Israelinhon, apil ang mga pari ug ang mga Levita, nagpuyo sa ilang napanunod nga mga yuta sa nagkalain-laing mga lungsod sa Juda. 21 Apan ang mga sulugoon sa templo nga gipangulohan ni Ziha ug ni Gishpa didto magpuyo sa bungtod sa Ofel.
22 Ang labawng pangulo sa mga Levita sa Jerusalem mao si Uzi nga anak ni Bani. (Si Bani anak ni Hashabia; si Hashabia anak ni Matania; ug si Matania anak ni Mica.) Si Uzi usa sa mga kaliwat ni Asaf nga mga mag-aawit sa templo sa Dios. 23 Naggikan sa hari ang mando alang sa ilang mga buluhaton kada adlaw.
24 Si Petahia nga anak ni Meshezabel, nga usa sa mga kaliwat ni Zera nga anak ni Juda, mao ang tinugyanan sa hari sa Persia sa mga butang nga may kalabotan sa mga katawhan sa Israel.
25 Ang ubang mga katawhan sa Juda nagpuyo sa mga lungsod nga duol sa ilang mga uma. Ang uban kanila nagpuyo sa Kiriat Arba, Dibon, Jekabzeel, ug sa mga baryo sa palibot niini nga mga lungsod. 26 Ang uban didto mamuyo sa Jeshua, Molada, Bet Pelet, 27 Hazar Shual, Beersheba, ug sa mga baryo sa palibot niini. 28 Aduna usab kanilay nagpuyo sa Ziklag, sa Mecona, ug sa mga baryo sa palibot niini, 29 sa En Rimon, Zora, Jarmut, 30 Zanoa, Adulam, ug sa mga baryo sa palibot niini nga mga lungsod. Ang uban pa gayod didto mamuyo sa Lakish ug sa mga uma nga atua didto, ug sa Azeka ug sa mga baryo sa palibot niini. Busa nagpuyo ang katawhan sa Juda sa mga dapit nga sakop sa Beersheba hangtod sa Kapatagan sa Hinom.
31 Ang mga katawhan sa Benjamin namuyo sa Geba, Mikmas, Aya, Betel, ug sa mga baryo sa palibot niini, 32 sa Anatot, Nob, Ananias, 33 Hazor, Rama, Gitaim, 34 Hadid, Zeboyim, Nebalat, 35-36 Lod, Ono, ug sa Kapatagan sa mga Trabahante. Ang ubang mga Levita nga nagpuyo sa Juda gipapuyo uban sa mga katawhan sa Benjamin.

The New Residents of Jerusalem(A)
11 Now the leaders of the people settled in Jerusalem. The rest of the people cast lots to bring one out of every ten of them to live in Jerusalem,(B) the holy city,(C) while the remaining nine were to stay in their own towns.(D) 2 The people commended all who volunteered to live in Jerusalem.
3 These are the provincial leaders who settled in Jerusalem (now some Israelites, priests, Levites, temple servants and descendants of Solomon’s servants lived in the towns of Judah, each on their own property in the various towns,(E) 4 while other people from both Judah and Benjamin(F) lived in Jerusalem):(G)
From the descendants of Judah:
Athaiah son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalalel, a descendant of Perez; 5 and Maaseiah son of Baruch, the son of Kol-Hozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, a descendant of Shelah. 6 The descendants of Perez who lived in Jerusalem totaled 468 men of standing.
7 From the descendants of Benjamin:
Sallu son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jeshaiah, 8 and his followers, Gabbai and Sallai—928 men. 9 Joel son of Zikri was their chief officer, and Judah son of Hassenuah was over the New Quarter of the city.
10 From the priests:
Jedaiah; the son of Joiarib; Jakin; 11 Seraiah(H) son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub,(I) the official in charge of the house of God, 12 and their associates, who carried on work for the temple—822 men; Adaiah son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malkijah, 13 and his associates, who were heads of families—242 men; Amashsai son of Azarel, the son of Ahzai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer, 14 and his[a] associates, who were men of standing—128. Their chief officer was Zabdiel son of Haggedolim.
15 From the Levites:
Shemaiah son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni; 16 Shabbethai(J) and Jozabad,(K) two of the heads of the Levites, who had charge of the outside work of the house of God; 17 Mattaniah(L) son of Mika, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph,(M) the director who led in thanksgiving and prayer; Bakbukiah, second among his associates; and Abda son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.(N) 18 The Levites in the holy city(O) totaled 284.
19 The gatekeepers:
Akkub, Talmon and their associates, who kept watch at the gates—172 men.
20 The rest of the Israelites, with the priests and Levites, were in all the towns of Judah, each on their ancestral property.
21 The temple servants(P) lived on the hill of Ophel, and Ziha and Gishpa were in charge of them.
22 The chief officer of the Levites in Jerusalem was Uzzi son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah,(Q) the son of Mika. Uzzi was one of Asaph’s descendants, who were the musicians responsible for the service of the house of God. 23 The musicians(R) were under the king’s orders, which regulated their daily activity.
24 Pethahiah son of Meshezabel, one of the descendants of Zerah(S) son of Judah, was the king’s agent in all affairs relating to the people.
25 As for the villages with their fields, some of the people of Judah lived in Kiriath Arba(T) and its surrounding settlements, in Dibon(U) and its settlements, in Jekabzeel and its villages, 26 in Jeshua, in Moladah,(V) in Beth Pelet,(W) 27 in Hazar Shual,(X) in Beersheba(Y) and its settlements, 28 in Ziklag,(Z) in Mekonah and its settlements, 29 in En Rimmon, in Zorah,(AA) in Jarmuth,(AB) 30 Zanoah,(AC) Adullam(AD) and their villages, in Lachish(AE) and its fields, and in Azekah(AF) and its settlements. So they were living all the way from Beersheba(AG) to the Valley of Hinnom.
31 The descendants of the Benjamites from Geba(AH) lived in Mikmash,(AI) Aija, Bethel(AJ) and its settlements, 32 in Anathoth,(AK) Nob(AL) and Ananiah, 33 in Hazor,(AM) Ramah(AN) and Gittaim,(AO) 34 in Hadid, Zeboim(AP) and Neballat, 35 in Lod and Ono,(AQ) and in Ge Harashim.
36 Some of the divisions of the Levites of Judah settled in Benjamin.
