Nehemiah 9:38-10:9

The Agreement of the People

³⁸“In view of all this, we are making a binding agreement,^(A) putting it in writing,^(B) and our leaders, our Levites and our priests are affixing their seals to it.”^[a]

10 ^[b]Those who sealed it were:

Nehemiah the governor, the son of Hakaliah.

Zedekiah, ²Seraiah,^(C) Azariah, Jeremiah,

³Pashhur,^(D) Amariah, Malkijah,

⁴Hattush, Shebaniah, Malluk,

⁵Harim,^(E) Meremoth, Obadiah,

⁶Daniel, Ginnethon, Baruch,

⁷Meshullam, Abijah, Mijamin,

⁸Maaziah, Bilgai and Shemaiah.

These were the priests.^(F)

Jeshua son of Azaniah, Binnui of the sons of Henadad, Kadmiel,
